Event Participation Notice
This notice explains how events on Istina work.
By joining an event, you acknowledge and accept the following.
1. Role of Istina
Istina acts solely as a technology platform that enables users to create and participate in events.
Istina is not the organizer, sponsor, or promoter of any event and does not guarantee attendance, outcomes, or experiences.
Each event is created and managed by an independent creator.
2. Event Information
Each event includes information provided by the creator, including:
- event name,
- date and time,
- location or access instructions,
- visibility (public or invite-only),
- pricing (if applicable),
- description and event details.
You are responsible for reviewing all event details before participating.
3. Participation Conditions
Participation in an event may be:
- free, or
- paid, requiring payment in USDC.
If participation is paid:
- the price is displayed before purchase;
- payments are subject to the Event Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Important – Payment Responsibility: If paid, your payment goes directly to the event creator (net after Istina platform fee). Istina provides technical facilitation only. Refund terms are defined by the creator, summarized in the listing, and governed by the Event Cancellation Refund Policy. Istina is not responsible for creator no‑shows, insolvency, event failure, or refund decisions except where required by law. Disputes must be resolved with the creator.

4. Immediate Performance & Withdrawal Rights
By participating in this event, you expressly request immediate access to the service and acknowledge that, once participation begins, you lose any applicable right of withdrawal under EU/EEA consumer law.
5. No Guarantee of Outcome
Istina does not guarantee:
- event quality,
- attendance levels,
- content,
- or outcomes.
Istina does not control or verify event execution, venue conditions, or organizer performance.
Any disputes regarding the event itself must be addressed with the event creator.
6. Real‑World Safety
Events may take place at real‑world locations or involve in‑person interactions. You are solely responsible for your own safety and conduct when traveling to, attending, or participating in any event and must use your own judgment and take appropriate precautions. Istina does not inspect or monitor venues or participants and is not responsible for any injury, property damage, loss, or disputes arising from your attendance at or participation in any event, except where such responsibility cannot be limited under applicable law.
7. Legal and Age Restrictions
Participation is limited to users 18 years of age or older.
Certain events may not be available in all jurisdictions due to legal or regulatory restrictions.
